Through trying on clothes in dressing rooms and structuralist camera operation, Garment tears up the status quo of narrative cinema and norms of sex and gender. It creates ruins, a scenery for re-thinking the social and institutional functions of policing gender. The work includes poetic and porous material without falling into illusitionistic cinema. Rather the work acts as en envelope for a continous feeling of durability. Work is supported by Greta och Alfred Runebergs Stiftelse.
